REOUVEN PHOTOGRAPHY

I was born in 1985 in France and moved to Israel with my family when i was two yers old.
Now I understand that memory and photography speak  in the same language. More then ever,
i realize now the ability of an image to stimulate our memory and retrieve lost information from there. As I try to understand what attracted me to photography I realize that I'm trying to awaken my subconscious memory to search where it all began. Ever since I remember myself as a child i was intrigued by the analog work of my uncle in his photography shop in France so i began to hold a simple camera that accompanied me everywhere i go. That's how i started to investigate without knowing the camera's ability to freeze reality and to storage it in the photography pages. I was fascinated ,and still by the chemical process that the reality is going through. I was fascinated by the ability of the camera to imitate the rays of light. Today after I decided to turn my hobby into a profession I am finishing four years of college degree in Communications photographic in Hadassah College in Jerusalem. In my professional work I'm still trying to connect as posibble to my old hobby. Every kind of work I am doing I am trying to bring about the photographic image as much as similar to its natural beauty and sometimes a little bit more.
